Happy Sourth!

To say that my children enjoy spending time with their cousins would be a huge understatement! So... you can imagine the excitement and squeals of delight that fill the room when my husband announced we would be spending the "sourth of July" at Aunt Sunny's house. For two weeks my daughter would wake up and say, "Can we go to Sunny's today, mom? Can we? PLLEEEASSEE!" Of course they have a great time, there's a ton of delicious food, a crazy assortment of games and activities, and a loving family to enjoy it with!Layla helped Gramanee make the fruit pizza. Super delicious!

T. loves to dress up in his "basketball guy costume" when he's around his cousins. He thinks they are the coolest and wants to do everything just like them.

Since T. couldn't join the older guys in the splashing pushing game, he decided to entertain gramanee .

After all day in the pool, we grab a bite and head down to catch the fireworks! They were a little loud for T.'s liking - so we watched from the car. Then home again. We made a big pallet on the floor for Layla and Abigail. They exchanged "good nights and I luv u's" giggled a few times and were OUT! On a pallet a few feet away, laid T. with huge eyes and twitching feet. I guess he was a little overstimulated. He kept saying, "Happy Sourth, MOM! Happy Sourth! Did you like fireworks, mom? Real woud! Happy Sourth!" A few dozen "happy sourth"s later and T. drifted off to sleep. A fun and happy Sourth of July was had by all!!
