We met our good friends and their wee ones at Ruta Maya for the free kids show on Sun. I was pleased to hear, "hope you brought your drum" when we walked through the door. Turns out Mr. Steve would be giving the kiddos a djembe lesson. Fangaaaa... for tots! Awesome!

Layla enjoying the show! We practiced on the table - we obviously, did not bring our djembe!
However, lots of folks brought theirs. So many kids were feeling the beat, dancing, laughing, singing, etc.. Very fun! This is just what I love about Austin!
Mr. Steve handed out some instruments so all could participate in the final jam session. Noah grabbed some bells. Layla was a tad hesitant when faced with approaching Mr. Steve on stage.
Mr. Steve gave his djembe to some kiddo and led the jam on another drum. Fabulous time had by all. We're looking forward to our next lesson!
