We woke up on Tues. and this was the view from our balcony. It was a very rainy day. 
There is nothing more fun than a trip to Schlitterbahn in the rain! The tots were mesmerized by the gigantic sand castle. They could climb, slide, splash, and nail mom and dad with the water canons. It was AWESOME!

They had a ton of super fun slides and rides - and they allowed us to take the wee ones on every single ride. It was raining pretty hard, off and on. Nothing stopped or even slowed down. We had a blast and never knew which direction the water was coming from. Was it the torrential downpour, was it the ride? Thankfully, there was no lightning.
They had huge turtles, alligators, snakes and whales floating randomly throughout the park. Notice the seriously dark sky in the back.
We stopped for a snack - and a quick snooze before jumping back in.It was soo much fun!

Very fun stuff. Wow what a nice looking water park. We went to one during winter, they had many area tented off so it could be heated like summer time. It was strange to say the least. Glad all had a great time.
